How long does it take to close a probate sale transaction?
It really kind of depends on whether it’s a full authority or a limited authority sale.
Of course the full authority sale is going to be a lot faster and the court confirmed sale is going to take a while. Court confirmed sales are going to usually take months. It’s not uncommon for those to take three, four, five months…
The biggest factor is based on how long it takes for us to get into the court’s schedule.
On a full authority sale, you can usually those closed anywhere between 60 and 90 days.
