Should I make repairs before selling my home?

Most properties that we sell in probate are sold in “as is” condition.

Each individual case is different though depending on the assets in the estate and the condition of the property.

Some clients do decide that they want to do some modest clean up and painting and preparing the property for sale. If it’s a really poor conditioned property then usually it makes more sense to clean out stuff, have it as tidy as possible, but to really sell the property in its “as is” condition – and that means no termite as well. That generally is the way that we sell most of our probates.
